Service dog last minute disclosure

I'm aware of both the ADA laws regarding service animals and FHA for emotional support animals. Just curious how others here have handled learning about service dogs last minute? In my current case, guest is in town for a wedding, has been there a night, and just reached out to me today to inform me that someone in her group brought a service dog. I appreciate her reaching out. I know that service animals do not need to be disclosed (although it's helpful). I've only seen front door cam footage and this dog does not look like a service dog (perhaps emotional support)- as I used to work with dogs and service dogs are highly trained and responsive. This dog was off leash and not listening to its human. However, beyond giving this group an opportunity to do the right thing (I responded with appreciation for the transparency, the only 2 questions we're allowed to legally ask, and a gentle reminder that we are a dog-friendly property and it's a minimal cost of $20 per night), is there a better way to handle this? TYIA!

Not much you can donor say at this point so I would just let it go.

Normally I would screen with the few questions you can legally ask.
