Strategic Management Openings - San Diego-Based, Investor-Aligned

Posted

Hi all,

I’ve been managing short and mid-term rentals in San Diego for several years, working closely with individual homeowners to help them optimize their property performance. My portfolio has stayed intentionally boutique, and I’ve built it around strong systems, high-touch service, and long-term relationships.

Recently, a few of my properties have transitioned (owners moving back in or converting to long-term tenants), which has opened up some space in my portfolio. I’m thinking more intentionally now about aligning with real estate investors, ideally those who are scaling portfolios and might be looking for more consistency across management.

That said, I’ve mostly worked with single-property owners so far. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s made the shift from managing for individual owners to partnering with investors. How did you approach those first few connections? Any tips on where investors look for strategic partners like managers, or what resonates most with them in early conversations?

I'm based in San Diego but open to expanding into other strong STR markets, especially if the fit is right. I'd appreciate any insight from those who've been down this road, whether from the management side or the investor side.

Thanks in advance!

– Sarah
