BREAKING: Major changes coming for Palm Springs Rental Ordinance

RESTRICTIVE DRAFT RENTAL ORDINANCE PUBLISHED
Palm Springs has now published the rental rules that will be proposed at this Wednesday's 5PM Council meeting, including:

No more than 28 rentals per year.

Letting family or friends stay counts against the limit.

No more than 8 guests.

2 guests allowed per bedroom up to 8 max. No daytime guests.

One vacation rental per person.

Can't own a vacation rental in an LLC.

Quadrupled permit fees.

At $900 annually, this reflects a 400% increase from today's $225 permit fees.
