Newbie in the Seattle area

I am a newbie living in Covington WA, about 20 miles SE of Seattle. I have been looking around the site for awhile now and learning as much as possible. I am really impressed with all the great information that is available here, and know that this site will be a great resource when my first deal comes along. My goals are to eventually buy and hold rental units for long term wealth, but would like to get started by doing some flips to raise money.

I am in a similar state as you are... looking to jumpstart my investing career with flips so I can purchase buy-and-holds with the profits. I have a decent amount of capital saved, but I think I need a bit more to do things properly in the area I am interested in (south Snohomish County). I grew up and currently live in this area and know it very well.
