New member from NYC - Queens

Hi all,

It's nice to be on Bigger Pockets after hearing and seeing so many great things about this community. I am from Connecticut originally and currently live in NYC, right on the boarder between Brooklyn and Queens.

I am new to real estate but I do have a background in insurance, economics, and market research. My goal is to learn more about the finance side of real estate investment so that one day I can build an investment and development company. Although I have big dreams (or should I say, because I have big dreams) I am ready to learn by doing and put in the hard work needed to enter the business.

I am happy to connect with Bigger Pocket users from all over, and especially those in the NYC area. If there is any way I help your business by working with finances, data collection, or otherwise please let me know!
