Hi all,

I've stumbled on Bigger Pockets while perusing real estate opportunities in the Dallas, TX area. I currently live in Ireland, but am considering a relocation to (hopefully) warmer and drier Texas over the coming months. As I will also need a place to live, I thought 'why not make it an investment?' A few internet searches later, here I am. Hoping osmosis will do its thing and I will learn lots about investing in real estate in Texas from the more experienced members here, and very much enjoying the quality of the articles available!

@Anthony Turrem, welcome to BP!    In all my global travels, I've only found one place to be friendlier than TX, and that's Ireland - so you should feel at home here.   It's also a great place to invest.    Best wishes should you decide to make the leap!
