Hi there. I'm a newbie to this as well. I've decided about 2-3 weeks ago I need to start this path and so far I think this community and bigger pockets podcast is a great tool for learning. Right now I'm just trying to soak up all the terminology and information but it's very interesting. I'm also saving so I can obtain my first investment by Jan. 2017

Any good local resources I can look into? I'm in Between San Antonio and Austin . Maybe there's a networking group or something I can join to learn more --and network?
