20 Years Old and ready to start my REI career. Any advice?

Hi everyone! My name is Aaron, I'm from Brampton,Ontario,Canada. I'm a 20 year old newbie looking to start a career in real estate. I just joined the forums and thought I should introduce myself. Me and my mother are planning to start a business in the near future. At the moment we are just trying to get our hands on all the education we can get. We are looking to get into rental properties, as well as rehabbing projects. I'm looking to connect with other young, new members in a the same boat as me, as well as experienced investors who are willing to help out. I always hear "your network is your networth" so on that note I'm planning to build my network as early as I can. So a couple questions to start: Any investors from Toronto GTA area? I'd love to chat about your experiences, as well as get a feel for our market Any investors under 25? I'd love to hear challenges you have faced because of your young age. Any tips on finding a mentor? Some say you should pay for one some don't (I kinda agree with the latter, but if you have positive experiences with coaches if love to hear them) (This question is for the Toronto/GTA investors) Any advice on what REI groups I should join? There's loads of them out there, and they cost money even to just check them out so I'd like to avoid wasted time and money if possible Any advice in general for someone starting out? (With little money, I'm 20 years old after all, working full time though) Sorry if this is a lot for a first post. Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated! I know there's a wealth of knowledge on these forums so please share!
