Hello everyone!  My name is Jason and I just recently joined BP.  I'm very excited about this community and getting started in real estate investing.  I currently work full time in the financial services industry in Charlotte, NC and am looking to invest on the side.  Eventually I would like to transition into full-time investing once it makes sense.

For the last few months I've been reading books, listening to BP podcasts and viewing webinars, all of which have been really informative.  I want to continue this education, but I think I'm at the point of getting out there, networking and taking action.  I also plan to upgrade to a Pro membership soon.

If there are any tips for a newbie, especially in the Charlotte market, it would be much appreciated. I'm going to my first REIA event tomorrow; thinking that's a good place to start. I look forward to connecting with you guys!

Jason so many good meeting to go to in Charlotte or Rock Hill . I try to pop in a few my self. I like the ones who are not selling their own stuff more informational meeting. Which there are plenty of those. Ask away as you can see we have a lot of Charlotte folks here on BP.
