Welcome to BP. I buy in Phoenix. I currently have 3 SFR in various stages of rehab and I am closing on a MFR of 14 units in a couple of weeks.
I live in Australia and work through my team in Phoenix. I buy according to the numbers and have an agent and builder who confirm them for me. Put me on your mailing list for any wholesale deals.
I think you are correct in getting involved in real estate investing at a young age. One big secret to success is that you make money when you buy not when you sell.
