Newbie from Tomball, Texas!

Hello BP Community!

First of all, I want to thank you for the wealth of information available through the forums, blog, and other areas of the site. I look forward to learning as I dig around and ask questions. I am a completely new investor interested in local, single-family, buy-and-hold rentals. We live in Tomball and plan to self-manage, so we are mainly looking in the northwest Houston area. My husband and I are trying to learn as much as we can before we move forward and pursue a deal, but hope to acquire our first rental by the Summer of 2017. We are nervous yet excited about this new adventure!
