I'm very new to the REI world and I'm very interested and driven to learn as much about it as I can. I just graduated from high school about 2 weeks ago. My plans were to go to college with a major in biology, eventually making it to medical school; life, unfortunately(?) had different plans. I was given a little book called "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and my world was turned upside down. "The sky looks so small from the bottom of the well", these words so accurately described my thinking before that book. As I do not have a job yet, I have devoured all the information I could get. Since then I have read many books, articles, videos etc. and am very, very keen to procure more information about the subject. My biggest problem right now it seems is, of course, my lack of money and finer details as to the mechanics of laws and taxes involved. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome and congrats on 'seeing the light' so soon @Benny Nimaj!  RDPD and Kiyosaki has opened many eyes.  Why don't they teach that in school, right?

So I would recommend starting with some Guides under Education up top.  That and getting on the business end of some work.  Waiting for a 'job' is not what we do.  We hussle and provide services to people who reward us with certificates of appreciation with president's faces on them.  If you are mowing lawns, listen to podcasts while doing so.  Delivering pizzas? Same thing.  It is while we are out there that opportunities come up.  They are always wearing work clothes.

Get out there and earn while you learn!
