Hello from South Florida!

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Emir and I reside in South Florida area. I'm starting to learn about flipping homes and currently signed up for a pre sales assc class in couple weeks to get my real estate license. I'll be doing this as a side gig with my father (not in any connection to my full time job).

We're looking to buy homes upto 100K in palm beach area (for now) and make some profit off them. RIght now we're looking to start one for about 60-80K so we can learn from it.

The hardest time I'm having is finding a home worthy of the investment (well priced and needs work) and getting good comps (what to buy it for and what to sell it for) I've been using zillow and still can't find a good home...

I'm here to ask questions (and eventually answer) and learn from people who have been doing this and can teach me.

Anyways, hello and looking forward to learning!

@Emir Yildiz, it's all online.  You need to register and put 5% down in advance.  Please remember that you are not receiving a clear title at the auction.  City of Boynton is infamous for having multiple thousand dollar water bills.  HOAs and any other interests may not be recorded, but will need to be paid/settled prior to obtaining clear title for resale.

People with systems in place are flipping based on appreciation and walking away with $10-$20K on a home.  IMHO, from a profit perspective, it isn't worth it.  Regardless of the source, do your homework!
