New Investor in Kansas City, MO

Hey everybody! I’m a new investor in Kansas City, MO. I listened to nearly all of the BP podcasts before finally setting up an account. The information I’ve gathered from the site has been incredible and motivating. I live in the Northland with my wife and son, who was born in September of 2017.

I would love to start with a duplex as my first property but feel a single family home would help me better learn the landlord side of things to start. I have looked at several properties so far but realized the numbers didn't work after seeing the rehab they needed. I want to start with turn key rentals to get my feet wet and ultimately move to the BRRRR method.

Welcome! I am also in KC (lees summit) and would love to keep in touch. I had one rental (condo) in the past that I had for about 5 years before selling it since we moved to KC at that time.
