Newbie from Brampton, Canada

My name is Viplav Naik, and I am a university student studying Real Estate Management at Ryerson University located in Downtown Toronto, Canada.  I am going into my junior year of studies, and I am also trying to pursue a career in real estate.  Overall, I am just in the process of learning more about the field and I found BiggerPockets as a source to gain more information.  My dad is also a real estate agent who focuses mainly on residential estate and land lording.  Because of him, I have gained a very unique interest in the field.

Right now, I obviously don’t have any resources of my own to start investing.  However, I am just looking for any tips and suggestions on how I can get more involved in the field and continue to earn more knowledge.  Any tips or advices are welcome.
