A question on etiquette

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to posting and have a question about "connecting" with other members. Under what circumstances would you ask to connect? Is it ok to request to connect with a member who has replied to one of your posts? On LinkedIn, for example, I would never attempt to connect with someone I don't already know to some extent. I'm just trying to figure out the lay of the land here.

Thanks!

This was something that I tried figuring out when I got started as well. I have had success growing my network with agents in my area and state just by letting them know that I am working on expanding my network. I also request connections to those that make good comments on my posts, and others that seem like they have valuable info that could help. I haven't had anyone reject yet, just a few that haven't responded.

Hope this helps! Feel free to send me a connection! Aaron
