I am back! I first joined the community in Feb of 2017 and posted about my 6 figure student loan debt and woe of freedom from my parents. A lot has happened in the almost 4 years I have been inactive. I am happy to report I am debt free. Have been for over a year now. I have a much better job and am finally ready to house hack. I live in Bergen County New Jersey and am looking to network with people in this area. I am currently saving for my house down payment. My next step is to get pre-approved for a loan. I am thinking I will go to my local bank that I use for this. I plan to do the FHA loan with 3.5% down. Properties are very expensive in my area especially multi-families. I am anxious and excited for this new venture, any advice would be greatly appreciated! I look forward to interacting in the community!
