Investing in Lynchburg - VA

Anyone experienced in investing in the Lynchburg, VA area? My gf lives there and I've been having a thought of moving there (I'm from NOVA) but also wanting to know more about area and the opportunities. I mainly look for SFH and MFH.

I've been waiting on the market to cool down but no time seems like a good time..

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've only ever driven through Lynchburg, but seems like a beautiful area. I imagine there's some solid very solid potential for STR. You're pretty well situated geographically with Mountains, major cities and the coast all reasonably nearby.

I used to live in DC and am licensed to lend in VA - more than happy to crunch some numbers if you'd like. Feel free to reach out.
