Hell BP world!

I have a question for the investors in the Sarasota/Nakomis Florida markets. Is this a big rental area, flip, wholesale? I'm trying to find out as much as I can about the real estate market here. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Matt,

I've been in Sarasota for about 6 years now.  Licensed RE agent.  We currently have 3.6 months of inventory(very low) and median prices over 200k.  This is a very tough market to break into.  If I had a dollar for every investor that wanted a fixer-upper around 150k I'd be rich.  A lot of folks are moving up in price to 300K and renting them out for $1 per sq ft.  I'd also suggest bringing cash.
