Welcome to our Question of the Week!

This week's question is both fun and helpful for our short and mid term investors. Now that travel restrictions are being lifted and mandates are changing, many people are thinking about travel again. Has any of this changed how or where you are choosing to travel? While many families have been staying closer to home rather than air travel, inflation and gas prices are affecting plans for many.

Let us know the exciting places you're going to go! What amenities do you find most valuable when choosing a STR? What makes a good host and stay experience for you?

Let get talking!

We're going to Florida and Hocking Hills in June, and my bachelorette is in Ocean City in July. After seeing how much we're spending on lodging (all AirBnBs), I'm re-evaluating where we rent from. The appeal of AirBnB used to be the price. You could stay in someone else's house for less than the cost of a hotel. Now, AirBnB is the same price as traditional lodging, if not more. I'm no longer seeing any advantage to it as a consumer.
