Why Guru coaching students are rarely successful.

So the Tarek and Christina show came to Columbus today.  I only know this because I've had 8 calls this evening from my craigslist ads and websites from students building their buyers list.  I am friendly to them all, I let them ask their questions, then I ask if they have heard of BiggerPockets.com before.  NOT A SINGLE ONE HAD HEARD OF BP.

This says to me that  hundreds of people are just looking to "get rich quick" because they haven't looked up a single question on google, which would have resulted in them finding BP.

It is sad that so many of these people trust a guru to go home and do their homework that same night, but have never even considered searching out information on their own.  If you need your hand held with something this simple, you can't possibly succeed when the tasks become more difficult.
