obama says we're doing great! Why don't I feel all warm and fuzzy then?

Obama sounded almost giddy on how well the country is doing. The stated unemployment rate only ROSE to 9.9%. HOORAY! (however, when you include EVERYTHING in that category, it is 17.4%, almpost a record high)He says that was good, because it shows more people are looking for jobs. I'm sure it has NOTHING to do with the expiration of the benefits period. Also, I'm sure the new jobs "created" in govt sector has really helped. Oh, and also the 56,000 temporary jobs working for the census.
On another item showing just how well everything is going, food stamps just reached a new record total of nearly 40 million persons.
Greece has all the problems they have , and are asking for 139 billion from UK to keep from sinking. Just the CA entitlements are nearly FIVE HUNDRED BILLION, one state! When the U.S. gets to 100% debt ratio , who do we go to for bailout. Oh, stock market is down over 200 points and has dropped 50 in the last 5 minutes.
I guess this might be why I don't feel all warm and fuzzy, even though obama is giddy. Rich

Talk about putting you to sleep, that is a 906 page document. I am curious, did you read it all? It makes a James a Michener novel look short!!

Whether you can go to jail or not, whether you get fined or not, any penalty that the Federal Government wants to impose on a private citizen for NOT buying a private sector product/service goes against everything FREEDOM stands for.
