REI Meet-ups near the D.C./Baltimore area
Hey BP,
This is my first post, but I have been following BiggerPockets for a while now. I am in the process of moving to Maryland and am looking for some good REI meet-ups near or in-between the D.C. and Baltimore area where I can link up and network with other investors. I am hoping to start investing there. I am currently doing a few flips with a few partners out of state, but I would very much like to start flipping/BRRRRing when I can in MD. I hope to find a great group of people and build my Core-4 out there, so I can hit the ground running. I appreciate any and all help or information any BP member can throw my way as real estate has become a big passion of mine. Especially realizing how it can be an awesome wealth creator. I am looking forward to hearing from whoever would like to talk or potentially meet-up when I get to MD. Thanks all!
Hi Brendan and welcome. There's the events search under the networking tab that will show you some events happening soon. Also, you can find some meetings on the Meet-up app, go to a few and see which ones you like most.
Theres a meeting on Fridays at 12 noon at Spirits that I found really nice. Unfortunately I only went once before coronavirus kicked in. @Peter Giardini also has a meeting in Timonium that I really enjoyed.
This question gets asked often so you can also do a search for answers that were given then. Good luck and hope to see you around.
@Michael Kissi Thank you for the information! I have searched before for meet-ups in that general area, but most the time I have searched the only threads that pop up are from a few years ago. Leading me to think those groups may or may not still be around.
I will definitely have to use that app and see if I can ever go to the meet-up in Timonium.
