Hello all from Florida! I am seeking to build a team in Fayetteville, NC to start buying properties. If you are an excellent contractor, property manager or wholesaler in Fayetteville, NC, I would love to hear from you. I am currently seeking multi-family properties with 5+units, but will also be purchasing SFH, duplexes, triplexes and quads. Lets connect and all win!
Teamwork makes the dream work!
Hey there, so I recently bought a house in Fayetteville to rent out. Just want to say be careful. There are a ton of really bad contractors in the area. I had a lot of bad luck there with the real estate agent I chose and the contractor companies. Do not use Carolina Lawn care to do any work whatsoever. Yes they do more than just lawn care, but I wouldn't trust them to cut my grass. They painted my house the same color it was before even though I told them what colors I wanted. Mom and son is another who you should not use. He makes up excuses to not show up and then after the 4th time he cant come he tells you its too much work to do. My agent was also terrible and if you don't know what you are doing you could wind up getting in big trouble and even if you do it could still come back to bite you. I am using Regency Property Management to manage the property and so far they are really great to work with. So that's all I can recommend. I deal with Isabella and she and that company are the only people I have dealt with that have your interests in mind.
I invest in Fayetteville. Building a team is really important and as Kendall said, there are certainly poor vendors out there.
spend time vetting multiple possible vendors, have backups, and build relationships. This town has a lot of opportunity in it, but when you're new it's hard to attract great partners. Seek out great ones and prove to them you are a good investment.
I don't hold any secrets, not my style. I write out my thoughts and deals in full on my website for all to see.
Hey how's it going we invest in Fayetteville and have a phenomenal team. As we are just starting to build it will only get better. We can most definitely connect and make some things happen. Let's create some win win situations and build a long lasting relationship. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Yes watch out for bad "handymen" overall there are good contractors out there. Fayetteville is a awesome area to invest in. My family have several rentals of retirees who have been there 5 plus years in the same rental and NY transplants who been renting for years. Look for homes in the Jack Britt school district
You definitely have to weed through the bad to get to the decent as you would for anything else. Wishing all of you well.
@Ericka Williams thanks for your response. I hope things are great in Austin. I have family in Plugerville.
@Latonia Parks thanks for your response. I’m interested in getting information on your company since you are there in Fayetteville.
No problem. My husband and I have defined roles so I don’t handle our rentals but I can give you an overview of our process. I represent Buyers in the company.
Hey Adrian, hope you dont mind me bringing this post back up from the archives haha. I'm an investor from New York thinking about buying property in Fayetteville. I was wondering if you ever decided to invest there? If not what deterred you from the region?
