Investment/rental property with good schools in Austin ?

Posted

Can anyone please suggest where can we find investment/rental homes in Austin(including suburbs) that also has good schools (atleast 7 and above ratings) ? Looking for 400K or below budget. Open for new or resale homes.

So far notices either pure investment areas or high cost homes(around 600K+) with good schools. Trying to find which neighborhoods have a combination of BOTH( rental demand and good schools) but still average price of 400K or below?

@Sai Kiran The definition of "good schools" can be vague and varies on each investor's criteria. Some website rankings look purely at test scores, while others try and give the school a more well-rounded grade. If you are in a decent B class area, the schools will be fine. As @Poem Turner stated, you will find solid schools across northern suburbs and I would put Pflugerville in the mix as well, especially with your price target. Your tenants won't always have children, and even if they do, they may not have the means to live in top-rated school zones where homes are more expensive. Their definition of "good schools" may be different than yours as well. Hope this helps!
