MLS-Only Subscription - California
Hi BP family, I have a RE salesperson license in CA and am looking to work with a broker that offer MLS-only subscription. I'm not looking to have an active membership with a realtor association at this time. Looking to have access to MLS for investing purpose. The current broker I'm with will be moving onboard to full membership with realtor. Hence, it is not aligned with my objective. I'm currently with MLS only subscription with OC AOR. If you are a broker who welcome agents with non-affiliation with board of realtor, or know of a broker who operates like this, could you please connect with me? Thanks in advance.

Thanks @Mark Pedroza - I am actually currently with these guys and they are merging with another company which will no longer allow the MLS-only membership.

The only other thing I can think of @Michelle Berge is if you call the C.A.R. legal department regarding your question or start studying for your broker's exam..

Hey @Michelle Berge, I’m also with reebroker. Still researching on a suitable broker to work with. Most brokers that I spoke with require realtor membership. One of them interestingly accept agents to park their license and pay a monthly fee, no need to have affiliation with board and still keep mls membership. I’m still considering if to join them. Any luck on your side?

Check out CURB realty. I believe their monthly fee is $39.

Hey @Michelle Berge, it didn't work out with CURB realty. They are a realtor office. Back to square one on this. It has been challenging looking for a MLS only broker..did you do more research on your side?
@Michelle Berge, I used Goldstar Realty in Encino. Hope its helpful.
Quick question for the posters on this thread. Has anyone used a Broker (or Agent) MLS-Only subscription to list a house for sale? I am not a Realtor, but I am a broker and I would like to sell a house.
It seems like become Broker MLS-Only might be a solutions (getting MLS and lockbox)?
I am in Orange County CA

I am an agent in the Josha Tree area and very interested in getting info. I'm tried of paying the unnecessary CAR/NAR fees
