Good Afternoon Everyone.

I am collecting data on costs of ADUs in San Jose and am looking for people who have completed an ADU. If so, would you be willing to share your story, budget information, and maybe even some photos with me?

Feel free to respond here or DM me.

Thanks!

@Adam Mayberry I work for a company called Maxable Space. We educate homeowners on the benefits of building an ADU on their property. We are gathering data in order to provide first-hand stories and information to our readers.

@Kelsey Imamoto - ADUs cost about $200-300 a sqft so 400sq ft can start at $80k without permit fees. Permit fees can be about $10k-15k. This is w a full kitchen, full bathroom and studio like unit.
