adding square footage

Justin Mumm
Posted

I put an offer on a two bedroom one bath 900 square-foot house on 1/3 acre lot. My plan is to add around 700 ft.² and make it a three bedroom two bath. Is there a general rule of thumb on how much a square foot it would cost for an addition in Washoe county Nevada?

When considering an addition, the cost per square foot can vary based on several factors such as the quality of materials, design complexity, and labor costs. It’s advisable to get quotes from local contractors to get a more accurate estimate tailored to your specific project. Additionally, consulting with a real estate professional or an experienced investor in your community might provide further insights into cost-effective strategies for renovations in your area.
