Hi Everyone,

I am brand new to this whole REI thing and just bought my first duplex. yay. Can anyone recommend a method to finding good contractors/professionals to work with other than trying to weed through yelp, home advisor, and such?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A property manager might have good connections in your area! They've likely worked with a lot of hand man and know a lot of people.

I would suggest searching for a local investors or landlords group, perhaps on Facebook. There you will find experienced people who can both recommend and steer you away from businesses/individuals. Once you find one, that entity can steer you to the next one. Hope all goes well for you!
