We are looking for an insurance provide for our flips. We have and are currently using a national vendor but feel the costs are just getting too high.
I would love to hear who people are using to properly insure their flips.
I am located in Chicago and would prefer a local vender but not a necessity.
I actually work for Farmers and I live in Minneapolis. I have insured many vacant properties with a number of products we have. Talk to a Farmers agent in your area. Every area is different, but I think they have the same programs down there.
Thanks Todd - I will try them!
@Matthew Putnick There are specific insurance programs for flippers.
Some of the advantages,
1 policy for all locations
1 Policy can handle the property being vacant, rehabbed or rented
Month to month billing.
I will PM you more info.
I use Affinity. I had my local Farmers agent (whom I've used for over 20 years) quote on flips and rentals, and he wasn't competitive at all.
I go through my local Farmer's agent. The insurance actually comes from Foremost Insurance.
@Jason Bott Maybe you can post it for the public readers to read on what they are looking for, it will also help the search bar when they are using it.
