Market Advice in Sterling Heights MI

Hi Bigger Pockets Community!

I'm a BP member from NJ - I have a rental property in Hoboken and I'm hoping to add a few to my portfolio in the next year.  I'm writing for some help with insight into the local market -

I'll be looking to sell my mom's house - its a 3 bed, 1.5 bath Colonial.  In Sterling Heights, 48313, Metro Detroit.  It has a beautiful newly updated (filter, heater, cover) pool and a large backyard.  It needs some interior updating and a some fresh paint on the exterior.   Laminate floors in good condition with new tile floors in kitchen and entryway.

I have an idea of where I think the market is, but I'd love to hear input from local professionals please!

Flipped, with the beautiful pool and huge backyard with privacy fence, it could make a great sale or great rental.   I'm in NJ and can't manage it from afar as i'd like to.

I look forward to hearing back with advice, thoughts about the market in the area, etc.

Thanks,

Marybeth

@Jon W. is from that area and has a good knowledge of Sterling Heights.

Good area North of Detroit and one of the largest suburbs of Detroit.
