Septic issue? Tenant claims house smells.

Text from tenant says that the whole house smells like sewage. Apparently there are no drains backing up. She also mentioned that it just started after several hours of heavy rain. Anyone with experience on this or have a recommended course of action?

Tell them to check the sump pump .  Also tell them to run water in every sink drain , if one hasnt been used in a while the trap could be dry and sewer gas is coming back thru
