Looking for Tax Lien Advice/ Agent

I am primarily looking in the D.C/Maryland Area (but open to anywhere that makes sense). I have heard mixed reviews on getting into Tax Liens, but I already have fallen in love with the idea. 

Looking for any advice and/or books for what to look for when it comes to attending these auctions and what the "real" side of investing in liens really is. 

Anything helps!
