GENERAL TAX LIEN QUESTION

Denisha K.
  • Atlanta, GA
Posted

Hello and good afternoon fellow Investors! I am looking at properties that are behind on taxes, and I am wondering if I pay the taxes, do I become the owner? What if there is a mortgage on it also?

@Denisha K. You paying the back taxes just helps the owner not you.

You have to purchase the property and then pay the taxes or wait until property goes to tax sale and buy it there.
