Newbie Looking to Get Feet Wet

John F.
Posted

Hello Everyone,

I am currently a graduate school student and am looking to learn about real estate investing. I have an internship in St. Louis this summer and am looking to understand the market. From my understanding, Midwest markets like STL, especially in the suburbs cash flow very well and it seems to be a great place to start. I won't have the money for the down payment for about a year but want to learn as much as I can now. Any advice on first steps to take? How have successful investors started in this market?
