Urgent question regarding buying at sheriff sale in Pittsburgh

Hey,

I'm looking at buying a property which is being brought to the Sheriff sale next monday in Pittsburgh by a bank for a mortgage default judgement.

I have a somewhat in depth question  for some one who is highly experienced with these auctions. I would be happy to pay someone for their time given that they have first hand experience with the system.

Basically the question boils down to: how paying off the default judgement works after the auction and what potential hangups can happen during this process.

Thanks!

Andrew

@Jesse Rivera i wouldnt know where to start. The process of researching and buying at these sales is very detailed and is also higher risk and higher reward. On average 450 properties go up for sale each month and less than 9% actually sell so the chances of you finding a property and being the winning bidder is very low. This is not the place for a new investor to start and keep in mind you will need your own cash to purchase. These properties are not finance able. In most cases you cant even get inside the property. We have made as much as 70k on one property  and we have lost as much as $30k on another.
