Low- to mid- range rehab costs

Wondering if some of the experienced folks out here in San Antonio can help out with estimating rehabs cost for the area. I'm looking to get 3/1 or 3/2 SFRs rent ready only.. no high end flips or anything like that. I have been analyzing a bunch of deals in the area and have been using rehab cost rounded to the nearest $10k and would like to get a little more detailed here.

What would really help me out is knowing approximately how much it would cost to redo:

- bathroom (cabinets, shower)

- kitchen (cabinets/countertops)

- flooring throughout the house

- interior/exterior paint

Thanks!

JD

I always try to make things simple. Not completely accurate, but simple. Costs should be roughly 1/3 materials, 1/3 labor and 1/3 profit for a contractor. If you price out at a local home depot materials for a bathroom will be about 1.5k hopefully it will take about a week for 2 guys to rebuild the bath. They would be about 1.5k for labor and the contractor will want about 4.5k to 5k total for a bath redo. You did say rent ready, not high end, basic stuff. 5k would be the rough estimate.
