@Robert Ortega awesome!! I’ve been to one before, and the first half of it kind of felt like a sales pitch, so I won’t be attending the meeting portion but I will be there to network. Hope to bump into you!

@Andy Levin This event is mainly attended by perpetual tire-kickers in my opinion. Check out meetup.com for more homegrown meetings

It is a traveling group that goes to every big city in Texas, hosts these events, and tries to sell their training classes and teach people how to birddog for them. Not much educational value in it, so the people that attend are usually either new or will never invest but haven't admitted that to themselves yet.

@Jason Hirko Yeah I definitely got that vibe from the first meeting I went to. I couldn't care less about the information they present - all of that is online or in books. But as I am new to the game (and the area), I need to network as much as possible.

I checked out meetup.com and saw a few upcoming events.
