County Foreclosure

I have a question about county foreclosures. I looked on the Palm Beach County Clerk Website. I see some foreclosures initiated by the HOA. How do I know if there are any liens on the property?

Thanks

@Chris Popov,

Here in The States, the county recorder will have a record of all documents filed and recorded in regard to a given property. Liens not recorded may not be enforceable.

@Chad U. and @Tiffanie Vendryes,

Some areas grant HOAs what's known as a "super lien" which can supersede everything except a tax lien. That is, HOA fees are viewed as another tax since if the HOA didn't provide the services they do, the county or municipality would do it and the cost would be paid out of the property tax.

Gotta watch out for those.
