I'm looking to connect with likeminded REI from Long Island! I am interested in BRRRR 100+ unit multifamily complex's (not necessarily in NY).

@Shawn Thomas Hello there! I'm not from NY at all, but I too am interested in the same as you. I've seen a couple recently that may work. I search across multiple areas. Do you have funding in place to so such a large project? Or are you looking to find people here that can help raise funds to do that? For me personally it doesn't have to only be 100+, I'm open to any size where the numbers work well, generally 30+. Also because a lot less cash is needed so it is easier to raise funding as compared to a 200 unit complex. That way with the smaller ones, you get them rehabbed and stabilized and then sell to do a 1031 into something larger.
@Don Spafford thanks! I am lucky enough where I can raise the funds for these larger deals. I have gained these contacts through the business I currently run. My weak spot right now is not have a track record in operating a deal (it’s the first thing these investors want to know). I’m looking to partner with that person.
@Shawn Thomas That is great. Finding the right partner is, in my opinion, maybe easier than raising funds for that size of a deal. I've got a friend that is in process on a deal right now for a property in the midwest. I'll PM you with some info.
