Building my Birmingham, AL full team. Love to meet up while I'm in town

Hey everyone,

I'm an active out-of-state investor focused on the Birmingham, AL market. I'll be in town from June 28th to July 4th and I'm looking to connect with local professionals who understand the BRRRR strategy, Section 8 requirements, and have deep knowledge of the best (and worst) zip codes and neighborhoods to target. My goal is to continue acquiring and renovating about 2 properties per month.

Here’s who I’m looking to meet:

👉 Contractors – I need reliable, experienced contractors who can handle full rehabs and understand Section 8 inspection requirements. I value contractors who are detail-oriented, can stick to budgets and timelines, and have experience working with investors on multiple projects. Familiarity with the nuances of Birmingham’s housing stock is a huge plus.

👉 Real Estate Agents – I'm seeking agents who live and breathe Birmingham, know the prime zip codes (and streets), and can help me identify properties that make sense for BRRRR. I especially need an agent who can spot high cash-flow opportunities and negotiate effectively on my behalf. Off-market experience or strong local networking is a plus.

👉 Property Managers – I’d like to build relationships with property managers who understand the Section 8 process and can help me place tenants quickly and manage my portfolio efficiently. Experience in managing rentals in my target areas is essential, especially with an eye on maintaining high occupancy and keeping maintenance costs under control.

👉 Wholesalers – I'm looking to connect with wholesalers who specialize in off-market deals and understand what makes a property a great BRRRR candidate. I need someone who knows how to find properties in the right zip codes with enough upside after rehab to make sense for cash flow and long-term equity.

👉 Private Money Lenders – I’m interested in building relationships with private lenders who are comfortable funding rehab projects in the Birmingham area. I’d love to discuss terms that can help me scale quickly and efficiently as I continue to expand my portfolio.
