Rehab and a current Tenant

Antonio Ward Jr
Posted

We are finally reaching the end of the buy process in my BRRRR project. I am moving into the renovations and having some contractors submit bids before the actual rehab starts. My property is a duplex with 1/2 units occupied. I have plans on starting in the empty unit first as this unit needs a lot of work and I am adding an additional bedroom. Now when it comes times to rehab the second unit, while having a tenant what are some options for me? Has anyone experienced and managed this type of situation before?
