House Flipping and Networking

Hello everyone,

This is my first post on BiggerPockets and honestly, I’m still trying to figure everything out haha! I will be graduating from college in the next few weeks and look to transition into the Real Estate Industry. (specifically investing) Since I am new to all of this, and don’t actually have any deals under my belt, I’m looking to start networking and hopefully find a mentor to help me along the way to securing/completing my first deal. I would be grateful if anyone could put me in contact with any Real Estate investors in the Cincinnati area to help get things rolling!!

Hi @Mitchell Larsen welcome to the community! I recommend that you attend local REI groups and participate in local (Cincinnati) forums by asking questions and helping others find useful resources like blogs, books, etc. that you've found helpful.

Just a helpful aside, be careful when asking for a mentor versus just networking. This type of language might entice someone to try to sell you mentoring services when really, you just need to network and allow a relationship to build organically.

Good luck!
