Hi Bigger pockets community,

Quick question.

Do you have to report your cash flow on rental properties?

Is this income taxed?

Appreciate your input in advance!

Rental income gets reported on schedule E. The income is consider passive and yes you should report your income unless you plan on visiting the big house.

At the big house, they do not charge rent and there's no evictions lol.
