Why the new calculators on BP??

Hi all,

Wondering who else has had a chance to play around with the new versions of the calculators. I'm noticing several issues with regards to the calculations... I found that a BRRRR calc was not taking into consideration the PI/TI into the cash flow. Also, I found when clicking the link to use the "old version" of the Fix & Flip calc, that it doesn't necessarily work the same way that the "old" version used to.

Really just want my old calculators back!!

Thanks,
Adam

Anyone have thoughts on this? These still don't seem to be working properly for me. In addition, I'm getting errors when I try to use the old version of the calcs.

Adam, yes having similar troubles as well. PI/TI excluded from cash flow and cash needed for rehab seems to also be excluded from final reports. Also, it appears there is not a way to run a pdf report or export data into a different calculator. Still fumbling through but I’m sure the BP team is on these fixes. Fingers crossed!

I also lost a bunch of previous reports that I had run recently. Anyone else experience this with the new calculators?

Someone tag some bigger pockets moderators plz.

I just made a thread on this and decided to scroll back to see if anyone else is experiencing problems. I wish the fix/flip calculator incorporated a financing section that accounts for closing costs, down payment, interest payments, loan payoff, etc. Maybe its coming

The calculators have been reverted while we look into a bug.

For whatever reason the report is stuck and saying the "purchase" portion isn't filled out, and won't let me complete the analysis. weird because I have every bar and fill in spot, all filled in. I just upgraded to pro today for the reason of using the calculator and it isn't working..

Does anyone know how to make a PDF with the new calculators? I can’t figure it out. Thank you!

Hi @Kara W.

I'm learning how to use the calculators as well.  After completing the analysis and viewing the report, there's an option at the top of the page, "Sharing options". Clicking on that, you'll see "Download PDF" at the bottom of the  Report Sharing Settings dialogue window.
