Direct mail question

do you guys send direct mail to areas of slightly higher price range? (typically I mail to sub 150k) Or do you find it better to mail to areas that have an income average of less then 50k(for example) no matter the housing prices.

I prefer to focus on 2/3 of the median price range.  This will get good quality homes that are easy to sell and filter out most of the junk.
