Help with navigating NACA. Buying my first multiunit.

Im new to the community. I live in Chicago and looking to get my first multiunit in Chicago. I have my first meeting next month. My lease is up in May. I need to go through the process as quickly as possible but I've heard is takes months. I just transferred $7k from my 401k to my savings because I heard they want to see a healthy savings account and I pay my rent on time. Hopefully this helps me move through the process quicker. Any feedback and/or resources about my situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey @Gomez Hampton! super exciting to hear you are getting ready to purchase your 1st investment. Where in Chicago are you looking to buy? Definitely would recommend having a bit more in savings as a cushion, banks will want to see additional money in your account even if you have the money for downpayment plus closing costs.
