STR to MTR over winter months......
Hello ~ I have an STR in Gulf Shores and the STR's have come to a halt. Looking for some mid terms or snow birds if you will. Any recommendations for traffic? I have a PM that is advertising on AirBnB, VRBO, and their site. I literally just joined Furnished Finder. Any tidbits for their site? I have to get my unit listed on there ASAP. Will be doing it over the weekend as my W2 has been getting in the way LOL. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!

It's a good strategy, but lower your expectations. I am also in a VERY seasonal STR market. There is no shortage of furnished housing supply in the offseason. I do think, however, that you will get some snowbird demand in Gulf Shores.
I also get more traffic on Airbnb with a 30 day minimum and discounted monthly rate than I do off of Furnished Finder. If you find the right price, you'll get booked; however, there will be much more housing supply than demand.
