Hey guys,

quick question can my company get sued for flipping a property to a buyer and the person I got it from sold it to me, but problem is the sellers he got it from haven't all signed yet and hasn't been through probate... He already can get his 10k deposit back, but he is threatening me with legal action becuase I was the "seller" in his contract... just need help!

I am confused are @Account Closed , and @Mike Smith both in this deal together? Either way here is my 2 cents, yes you can be sued. The question is will they sue, and if so will they win. You have not given enough information to make even a reasonable guess on that. I would advise you to have all the documents looked at by an attorney in your own state if you think it is going to litigation. If you can settle it with your current buyer and seller you might not need advice but it is always nice to know where you stand not guess. I would really want the attorney to look at the documents the original bird dog had with the sellers. Surely he wasn't stupid enough to sell the property without having all the owners/heirs sign some sort of document. If he has a contract and one person is violating that contract he can do some things. Good luck
