Can a listing agent wholesale a deal?

Can a real estate listing agent, that has a property listed with the owner, wholesale the property while it's listed on the MLS and assign it to an end buyer? If no other offers are coming in or the seller doesn't like the offers etc.

Definitely a conflict of interest. Find out if the seller is willing to discount the property enough to make it an attractive deal to an investor. The reason the property hasnt sold on the MLS is because its overpriced. So trying to sell it at that price or more as an off market wholesale deal is going to get you the same results. Nada. Have the conversation with the seller about price. And then offer to reach out to some investors and see what they would offer. Ultimately seller still has to decide if they will accept less than their asking price
